Does stretch, but
The darn stuff will break while you’re sewing, forcing you to have to stop-start-stop your seam constantly. It does however have that extra give that you need with knits when you don’t have a serger.
Tip for Darian
Have NOT yet used stretchable thread, but am taking the plunge. From what I've read, this thread is to be used in bobbin only w/ regular poly thread in the top of the machine. Thread should be manually wrapped around the bobbin to keep from stretching.
Breaks in machine
Liked size of thread but has minimal stretch to no noticble stretch that does not end in finish I was looking for sewing knit stretch fabric headbands and slouch hats. Tried different stitches unsuccessfully. Also gets caught in machine.
Terrible.
I couldn't even get 3 stitches out of this stuff before it would either James my machine, or the thread would break. I looked up countless articles and videos and did everything they said, but it just wouldn't work. I wouldn't reccomend.
IT Works
When I used my Singer sewing machine, the thread kept getting caught up in the bobbin or breaking my needle. I started to use a Brothers sewing machine and immediately a clear SIGNIFICANT difference! since I switched sewing machines I've had zero issues.

I have been sewing with this thread for a few days on my really cheap brother machine! It’s so easy and I’ve had no issues with it breaking or getting caught in my machine! 100% recommend. I’ve already completed 8 stretch knit fabric blankets!
First time sewer, works great!
I’m brand new to sewing and have been nervous to try since I don’t use woven fabric for anything. I use it in both the top & bobbin thread and after running thru 1.5 spools, no trouble using in two different singer models as others have mentioned.
Stretching thread
I use this thread when sewing on fleece. I works beautifully!
Great
I've got an old brother machine that works great with the correct thread. I've tried several different brands and weights in this machine but every single one keeps breaking, except for the sewology brand. Idk about other machines brands though.

After reading some of the older reviews I was very nervous as my singer machine is quite old and gives me fits. But this thread was perfect for hemming my daughter’s workout pants using a zigzag stitch. So glad I tried it!
