Sounds better than the plastic, but double the price. Perhaps with the 40% off coupon, I can manage.
Good loom, crummy loops
The metal loom is of high quality and should last for years, but NONE of the loops can be used; they are ALL too short. Every one of them! They don't give the loops away free (plastic looms cost $3, with loops $7) so I just paid extra for trash.
Loom & cotton blend loops great, nylon zero.
The loom is heavy metal which s important because I have to really stretch some of the loops to place on the loom. I never use the nylon loops because they melt when you set a hot pan on them. I use only the cotton blend 16 oz pack which is harder to find
Mixed feelings.
My kids love these looms, so I was very excited to find a metal one. When my son was using it he found a half burned Chinese cigarette mixed in with the loops. Disgusting. Very disappointed!
Metal loom kit
I really liked the metal loom. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality. I was able to make 4 potholders with the kit and I had no problem with the loops being too short as others did. I used a crochet hook I had on hand to finish them. Buy one!

Was so excited to relive part of my childhood. The directions are horrible and tell you nothing at all. Very disappointing.
