Kit is good
The easel and paints are worth it. You'll need to buy brushes, though, those included are substandard (too stiff, shed, uneven). Would be nice if the paints were in a portable box.
Why ?
I received this for Christmas. It requires mineral spirits to clean the brushes, if you have them. Dont get it on anything! It doesnt dry for weeks. I'm never going to be interested in this paint. Can I just bring it in and exchange it for some acrylic?

I hadn’t painting w oils in years. I love the rich creaminess of the paints and how oils don’t dry for days or months even so you can go back and add or scrape off areas. I bought a gallon of odorless paint thinner at Wmart for $15 and it works great!
Oil painting
Been working with oils for years. You need a splash of medium to stretch your paint and create a luster. Oil thinner or linseed oil, knot to much thought. It will dry out your paint.
Couple items miss the mark.
Paints good. Easel is good. Pallet and paint brushes are sub par. Would rather have flat pallet to mix with. Paint brushes seem stiff and bristles glued together. Would rather change out one of the pencils with a slightly larger brush.
