Krylon Kamar Varnish is a synthetic artist varnish that protects like traditional dammar without the impurities and yellowing. It protects oil, acrylic and watercolor paintings and keeps colors looking fresh from the palette. It also allows for easy reworking and can be easily removed with mineral spirits for cleaning. Dry to touch in fifteen minutes. Dry to handle in two hours. For use with wood, metal, plastic, glass, plaster, ceramic, paper, paper mache.
Can contains 11 ounces and covers approximately 15-20 square feet.

It sets the colors so they don't run when you seal them.
Works great
Do not buy this at hobby lobby. It's only 3.26 at Walmart without a coupon. Has bad reviews but I have used it a lot and never have I had a cloudy or glossy image. You literally can't tell you even put a finish on which is the point when you use matte.
Works on Gel Pen Ink
This is one of the only things I have found that seals gel pen ink without disintegrating it. After testing numerous products the item that works 2nd best which is also found at Hobby Lobby is Folk Art Fire Fly Glaze which is a waterproof paint on.
Works well on inkjet prints
I use this to protect inkjet prints on Epson Ultra Premium Presentation Paper Matte. I print on an Epson ET-8550 with dye inks. Here are my oservations: use several at least 5 or 6 light coats. Don't use below 60°F. It makes splotches. 75° is better.
