Should be labeled as coated.
The paint rubs off after a few uses. If you are going to get a bead that’s coated - first, it should advise as much. Second, look for one that says duracoated.
Poor quality beads
Nice selection of colors but some beads were defective, irregular shapes and discolorartons. Not reliable for professional jewelry.
