No operating manual.
There is one button. Timer On Off
No directions in any of the package to set timer. Without directions I need to manual turn on and off. Maybe just leave all of them on until the batteries drain and replace until the holidays are over. Lol

Comes with a timer, but no information how to use it. Now I know why it's out of stock.
Awful!
I purchased 4 strands and the lights have not functioned as they should! I followed the instructions on how to set timer but they turn off and on throughout the day. When i turn them off they turn back on within a short period of time. Lights are dim.
Disappointed
Bought some last year and they all have a short in them. Some of the lights are dimmer than others. Very disappointed. Same with the battery operated 6 ft garlands, they all do the same thing. Guess these aren't meant to last long.

If these previous reviews would read the instructions for the one button timer it works great. Have bought many for my home and they work great. Shocked if you read instructions you will figure it out!
Easy as pie
Place your batteries in it and turn it on one of two buttons. Just on or a timer side. Everyone apparently thinks this is hard. They worked great over my mantle without worry of plugs in an older home.

I thought these were great. Very full looking and the lights visible. It has 3 settings w instructions on how to use them both in paper form and on the battery pack. You click once to turn on and set the timer. You click twice to run continuously
Instructions for using timer
Programed with 24-hour timer mode, 6 hours ON/18 hours OFF. To use timer, turn lights on the 1st day at time of day you want the lights to come on each day. Example: Start at 5:00 PM, they will come on each day at 5:00 PM, & stay on until 11:00 PM.
Love them
These are amazing and easy to use. There is one button. If you press it once it’s on with the timer set. Press it again and it stays on. Press it again and it’s off. Straight forward. Stays on at 5pm and is on well after I go to bed.
