These color squares melt fast at any temperature and are a true color. I use 1 Sq for each pound of wax or half em to make a new color. I only wish there were options.
Didn't need to use a whole square. I used a knife to shave a small amount until I reached my desired color.
Need Instructions on how to use
This product has no instructions on how to use as far as how many squares per lb. of wax.
blue color squares
Melts quickly, lightens when candle hardening so won't get same color as seen in the melted wax. 1 square per 1 lb. GreT PRODUCT
I use squares from other co but, you shave some into the candle wax after it's reached the melting point (they vary). Test for color by smudging some wax on melted paper towel or dipping a cold spoon in wax. I just leave mine white & natural.
Not the greatest
This dye is good for dark colors only. It does not make good pastels. It also does not come with instructions. I would reccomend the liquid dye sold here for a good quality color.
These break apart easily and I'd say 1 square per pound of wax is just about right. Less than half a square colored 5 OZ of paraffin wax a medium red as opposed to pink. Will try the other colors and purchase again.
I bought these dye squares for my gingerbread candles. I used half of the package for 4lb of wax, which should have been more than enough, but my candles are YELLOW. I do NOT recommend this for any candlemaker.
Looks like poop
I used brown and my candles looked poop green. I would add a photo if it would let me. Won't buy this again and taking back the ones I haven't used. They left little chunks at the bottom of melting pot.
Do not buy the brown
Not true to color, it came out a very yellow brown, a very ugly color and I couldn’t get my candles to a true brown. The frosting on the glass is horrible too after using this.
