Metal Rain Gauge
Add neat rustic accents to the outside of your home, like this Metal Rain Gauge. The brown metal decor has a flat, round base plate with an arm extending out. The arm is attached to a piece that swivels and curves down and up to an open ring. Inside the ring is a glass tube with inch and millimeter measurement increments. Hang this gauge on the side of your porch or patio as a decorative way to catch and measure the rain as it falls from the sky!

Sadly, this good looking rain gauge will crack if any water is in it and it freezes overnight!
These rain gauges are great, yes they will break if water freezes in them, but that will happen with most glass. They work very well for me.
Tube Rain Gauge
I just purchased one today. I plan to use it in the kitchen to hold 1-3 small flowers/flower buds.
I used mine in the bedroom over my nightstand as a lamp holder. Perfect size for a medium base light bulb receptacle. I would consider it for decorative indoor use only.
I love these. I put plant starters in them. However I desperately need two more and they’re out of stock.
Looks nice, but if you want a rain gauge you should look elsewhere. This one is wildly inaccurate. 2" of rain reads 3.5". Also, people are surprised that a glass tube full of water will break if you freeze it? Maybe you should see if HL has your sign…
