Its beautiful but it…
Ordered 2 and 1 was broken in half. The back was in pieces where it hangs. The wood is very thin. Going to have buy a replacement from the store itself.
Beautiful, but….
I purchased two corbels. They are gorgeous but, when I got home and really looked at them….the mermaids are facing the same. When you place the facing each other, one will have the back view. Not what I want. I want to use the in a doorway.
Mermaid Cornel
I was so excited when I purchased the Mermaid Cornels, but not too excited when I realized they face the same direction they should face towards ea other. Regardless, I love and have purchased every mermaid fr this collection. Can’t wait for more!
BUYER BEWARE
The keyhole hanger makes it impossible to get it flush against the ceiling. They are not a 45 degree angle, so there are gaps that I did not like.To get rid of the gaps I used velco strips to hang them, they ended up falling and breaking into 1000 pieces
Only 1 view
These had such potential but, only one sided. If you order 2 to flank a doorway or entrance way, they will not match. She only faces on the left side. Her back is on opposite side. No where else will you use this corbal. Stupid..
Do not lay flat
I tried putting her in a door way corner and she does not lay flat. She is beautiful so I am going to attempt taking her back and replacing her
Corbels are not square
These corbels are not square, there are gaps at the back and top corner you’ll need to fill with caulk if you want to use them. Sad because these look great!
Wish I had Read the Reviews Before Purchase!!!
Beautiful but cannot use as left & right to go in corners of window or doorway. As stated in another review, back will not fit flush. Good only if you want 1 somewhere or use as shelf brackets-back to level problem. So beautiful, so useless.
Piece of art
The corbel is for decoration only and not a 90 degree angle. It is hollow overall inside. kind of fragile. But very pretty. Put it close to the ceiling above the bath tube. The color and the distress look are perfect.
Disappointing
I bought 4 of these to use in my house in Florida. As everyone else has stated they are not square so they do dot fit nicely into the corners. They also do go up facing each other, you get the front side of one and the back side of another.
