Great scissor for yarn crafts
This scissor is cute and very useful. Eventually, the spring in the scissor broke off, but the scissor is still functional. Affordable price and they cut yarn with ease.
Not bad.
I found these in the store for 99 cents. Not bad, but not great. I had them for 5 months and they are not sharp anymore. I use them to cut yarn and it takes 3 snips at least to cut.
Not worth it
While they are sharp and do cut threads they are impossible to hold. The spring is too wide making the blades open too wide, and pops off randomly. Thet can't really be used without the spring.
Just bought, not yet used
Squeezing them together while protective cover is still on, makes it easier to pull cover off it sits tight+ ensures the spring does not fly off like catapulted. I would never put it on my keyring. Perfectly cuts yarn and threads. Tips are VERY sharp!!
How to use as multi purpose tool
These are only meant for cutting yarn and thread, The hook at the tip of the protective cover can be used to lift the tab on soda cans. The metal hook is to open/remove the bottle caps from bottles.
Nifty lil thing
Very sharp nippers. I use it for cutting tail threads & when I’m hand sewing. The size is perfect because it takes up little space but the spring always comes undone and needs to be reinstalled; it’s not really broken yes it’s cheep but useful.
Good for what it does.
First time I opened them the spring shot across the room. Knowing it would happen again I used some E6000 and put on each end of the spring to hold it in place. Perfect answer. I do think it would be impossible to open a bottle. But you never know.
Nice little snippers
I have a bunch of these. I keep them in all of my crochet project bags for clipping yarn. They are not meant for big projects just for quick snips. Yes the spring has slipped out but it's easily fixed with a little dab of glue. I love them.
Great for healthcare workers!
I actually bought these to wear on my badge at work. I am a respiratory therapist and it’s helpful to have this to open packages and cut tape. I plan on buying more for my whole department for RT week!
Love These
Perfect for crocheters. So Sharp. Easy on hands. I have even used the multi points to unthread or unknot yarn that was too tight for fingers. This will definitely be a staple in my supplies from now own.
