Doesn't matter where it was made
Maybe HL is trying to make you think Mettler or Guterman or Aurifil, with the "Made in Europe" stamp. That doesn';t work. Quality is mediocre, at best. Reminds me of those 3/$1 spools. My machines not happy. Unpleasant handsewing. Won't buy again
Amazing for starters
I am quite new to sewing, and this is the first thread I got. I am very impressed with the thread, but, you should not use the thread for something heavy duty, it is not strong enough.
Great for classroom use
I use this thread with my students all the time. We use it for sewing sample and basic sewing projects such as pajama pants. Works great.

Good Price, But Sheds Lint-galore
Got this during the last sale at a great price… At first, I thought it was the fabrics I was working with, but now I know it’s the Sew-ology threads that are causing all the lint buildup on my machine after just a few minutes of sewing.
Great for me
I started sewing recently and my Kenmore 158.14301 really likes this thread. It doesn’t snap or tangle at all. Coats and Clark’s gives me issues, but this one doesn’t. For me at least this brand is very good and I plan to continue using it.

The best thread! I have a jonome sewing machine, doesn’t tangle or fray at the ends. Very strong for the bags and doll clothing I make. Great price when 50% off! Definitely recommend it!
Good Product
Just starting using this a couple of months ago. Better product that the other common brand that I used to use. This thread does not break or fray unnecessarily. Also the spools are more slender so I can fit them more easily in my thread box.

I think this is the worse thread I have ever used. It is full of lint, shredding while sewing and breaks often while sewing. Save yourself from the aggravation! I will not buy anymore!

This is cheap thread. I sew a lot and this thread keeps breaking. It’s not very strong and I made the mistake of buying 43 in different colors. Buying this was a mistake and I no longer have my receipt so I can’t return it.
